Eligibility |
1. Applicable from AY 2026: (1) Full-time (non-in-service) 1st-year Ph.D. students admitted in the current academic year (including Spring and Fall intakes). (2) Currently registered full-time Ph.D. students (continuing students); eligibility is subject to annual NSTC regulations. 2. Advisor Requirement: The applicant's advisor must have held at least one NSTC project within the last 4 academic years (including the current academic year). |

1. Application form. 2. Doctoral study plan. 3. Official Master's transcript (direct-entry Ph.D. students must submit both Bachelor's and Master's transcripts). 4. Publications from the past 3 years (for journal papers, please attach journal ranking, citation count, and page count). 5. Other supporting materials beneficial for review. |
Review Process & Notice
- Review Process: Preliminary review by the Department (based on evaluation criteria)-->Ranked recommendation list by the College-->Final review and approval by the University Graduate Research and Teaching Committee.
